2018/19 Rossignol S2 Xium Premium

The 2018/2019 Rossignol Xium Premium S2 has been making a splash, being very visibly different in appearance than the 2017 model.       But the changes are more than just top sheet graphics.

The new Xium S2 Premium has an updated carbon top sheet design that is intended to improve responsiveness.   It also has a sightly lower profile tip.    And the new ski continues with the "3-edge" section continues, which helps the camber with a smooth pressure distribution.
Nordic Ultratune will be getting a handful of the new skis in the coming days.

If you'd like a pair, let us know and if there's an appropriate flex for you, then Ultratune can get you on them while the ski season is still going strong!

Note:   Ultratune is going to be closed from Sunday Feb 26 through Thurs March 1st and will be out of cell and email coverage (I'll be in the mountains ski touring for a few days).     So if you email or call, I'll get back to you ASAP after Thursday!

Hmmm...   Maybe the new S2 is little faster?

Slightly off topic, do you know what the difference is between the S2 and S2+ models listed on the Rossignol Website? The S2+ is only available in larger sized which seems to indicate a stiffer ski for bigger, more powerful skiers but nothing on the Rossi site.
